We've gathered everything you need to know about this year's show.

The 2020 VMAs are upon us and it’s going the be a star-studded evening filled with show-stopping performances, moving speeches and, of course, a whole bunch of surprises.

Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande lead this year's nominations with nine nods each, followed closely behind by Billie Eilish and The Weeknd with six each.

This year's show will features two new categories: Best Music Video From Home and Best Quarantine Performance, that spotlight the creative ways artists adapted to the shifting landscape.

The A-list lineup of performers include Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, The Weekend, BTS and many more.

When?

The night toward Monday August 31 at 02:00 AM in Norway.

Where?
The VMAs will air live on MTV. First repeats will air on MTV Monday August 31 at 08:00, 14:20 and 19:00.

Actress and performer Keke Palmer will host this year’s show.

Performers
Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, BTS, The Weeknd, Doja Cat, CNCO, Black Eyed Peas, Da Baby and Maluma will perform during the night.

Pre-show
The VMA pre-show starts at 12:00 AM in Norway Performers include Chloe x Halle, Lewis Capaldi, Jack Harlow, Tate McRae and Machine Gun Kelly featuring Travis Barker and Blackbear.
